Kanya” is the 4th upcoming single from Melbourne Guitar Band, Kumar Shome & The Punkawallahs. 
 The band brings together that sound of Electric Jazz, Soul and Prog Rock comparable to artists such as
Thundercat, Mansur Brown, Butcher Brown, Khruangbin and Chon. 
          “Kanya” which means “maiden” in Sanskrit, refers to a new beginning sonically for the group. A dreamy track with a hypnotic syncopated rhythms that cruises along and keeps you moving gently.
